From Another Major

If you are undeclared there are no specific requirements to enter the major other than a QPA of at least 2.O. If you are transferring from another major you must have taken any four of the six introductory courses in psychology, biology, and chemistry and obtained QPA of at least 2.0 (overall and in those courses). A "College of Arts and Sciences Petition" (available in 1 Meserve) must be filled-out, signed by a Behavioral Neuroscience advisor, and retruned to the College of Arts and Sciences.

From Another College within the University

The requirements are the same as for transfer from another major except that the petition must be signed by both a Behavioral Neuroscience advisor and a College of Arts and Sciences advisor.

From Another School

You must be admitted to the university. If you declare behavioral neuroscience as you major at the time of entry then you are in the major. If you initially declare a different major, then you must meet the appropriate requirements as described above.
